As we all know, over the years Fashion has evolved all across the world. Besides that, we’ve also seen older trends coming back with a pinch of difference. Since FASHION doesn’t only mean clothes, it involves different accessories that are involved in completing a look.
We also know any woman since she’s a little girl, loves carrying a purse or handbag as she uses her mother. And I’m not sure about diamonds, but handbags definitely are a girl’s best friend. You will never see a girl/woman or anybody who’s a handbag fanatic without one. Needless to say, handbags have had their own evolution journey over the years. Back in the day, small shoulder purses and waist pouches were very common. But who knew they’d make a comeback! Today, everyone who I know, has both of these. Shoulder purses were more what our mom’s carried and waist pouches are what kids and fathers used during holidays. Today, they’re back with a bang and women are going gaga about them. After all, it’s easier carrying them around without any hassle.
Another part of evolution is brands that were not so important back in the day. But now when we think of quality or price, today everyone wants a branded bag. Carrying a brand is also a style statement today. Everybody wants a branded bag. But the aspect of best quality and assurance is something that has most individuals’ mentality of having a branded item.
Since we’re discussing bags today, MANGO happens to be one of my favourite brands for sling bags or even bigger bags for that matter. The quality, colours, and designs that they provide are each different and are worth the price they charge. Yes, they’re a little highly-priced so some people may not think of spending too much money on bags but it’s totally worth it if you want a bag of fantastic quality. Their sling bags are one of a kind that work for all ages of women. Which is also the reason that my mom and I share the slings that we’ve purchased from MANGO. I don’t have many slings as I have too much to carry. But, I love sling bags, especially from MANGO.
Sometimes when you need to carry very few things, a sling bag is the best option. I love slings that just are hassle-free, look gorgeous, serve my purpose and come in all colours and shapes. The ones from MANGO have always been of superior quality so I’m always happy with a MANGO bag with me.
So, today I decided to list down some of my favourite MANGO sling bags that I own and well, without a doubt am in LOVE with!
The Cream Coloured Braided Handheld Bag happens to be my absolute, utmost loved bag! Oh my god, this bag stole my heart when I laid my eyes on it for the very first time. his bag looks so bloody gorgeous that while writing too I can’t get the right adjectives to describe it. It looks classy, the design in itself makes you fall in love with it. It also has a tote version which is only available in Black. The bag even in its tote version looks marvelous. It’s tiny, the colour is attractive and goes with any kind of outfit you’re wearing. This sling bag also has a Mint Green colour option. Also, with a little bit of difference in the pattern, it has options like Black and Brown.
BEST PAIRS WITH: Formal, Semi-Formal and Casual outfits.
Anyone who likes it with an Indian outfit can definitely try. I’m not very sure as I can picture myself doing so. If anybody does, I’d really love to know.
This colour is unfortunately out of stock on both Myntra and the official MANGO website but you can check out the other colours. Comes with a small handle so it can be hand-held and a bigger belt if you want more comfort and style. This little square basket has my heart completely.
My second favourite is the Green Solid Sling Bag. To be honest, I’ve never had this shape in a sling bag ever. The colour along with the shape looks so perfect. The texture is amazing and the bag is so lightweight. The bag has a chain and a long belt to go with it. It has enough space on the inside so you can fit a lot of things inside. This colour is out of stock on Myntra but you can check out the MANGO website. I recently also came across Lavender and White colours in the same bag and couldn’t well resist myself so bought that too. Its a rather different colour and I didn’t have a shade like this in a bag so it’s okay. My parents did think it was a silly idea but my mom couldn’t resist it either.
BEST PAIRS WITH: Casual outfits.
This bag is all casual and chic and will definitely not look good with any other outfit. However, if anyone does try out, I’d love to know.

Next one is the Peach Coloured Solid Sling Bag. This little bag has a really cute lock system and this colour in this bag looks stunning. Again, not a colour that I’ve had before so I had to buy it. The overall look of the bag is very classy and smart. The bag comes in two more colours; i.e., Cream and Mint Green. This bag is pretty spacious on the inside so one can keep their phone and quite a few things.
BEST PAIRS WITH: Formal, Semi-Formal, or Casual outfitS.
The touch it would add to the look is beyond my imagination. It gives a chic and classy vibe that screams perfectionist with “let’s do some business” feel.
The Mint Green colour in this bag is only available on the official MANGO website along with the other two colours. The Peach and Cream ones are available on both Myntra and the MANGO website.
My next and again most favourite bag is the Beige Solid Handheld Bag. I’m not quite sure why they call it beige because it a beautiful pastel Yellow that’s such a one of a kind shade. It looks incredibly stunning and gives a chill vibe in its pastel hue. It’s like a small tiny bucket with a knot on top. There’s just an indescribable smile that I get on my face when I see this bag and sparkle in my eyes. There’s a magnetic button instead of a chain. It has a bigger belt as well if you don’t want to carry it in your hands particularly and is also available in Black colour which sends out a bold statement with subtlety to it.
This bag can take your outfit up a notch. It gives a very sophisticated vibe and screams elegance entirely. The Black colour sends out a bold statement with subtlety to it.
BEST PAIRS WITH: Yellow – Semi-Formal or Casual outfits. Black – Formal, Semi-Formal, and Casual.
In my opinion, it wouldn’t look good with an Indian outfit but its personal choice.
This bag is available on both Myntra and the MANGO website but unfortunately, the Yellow one is sold out from everywhere. It is currently only available in black but if anyone is eyeing this bag, it’s an absolute must-have. It looks just as gorgeous.
The next bag is the beautiful Olive Green Solid Handheld Bag. This tiny bag’s colour is so very attractive that anybody who doesn’t even want a bag in the first place will be attracted to it because of its very colour. It’s a colour that one can actually carry with any possible colour. The pattern of the bag shows how spacious it is on the inside. There’s a little magnetic button instead of a chain. There’s also a long belt so you can be at ease while carrying it. The bag is lightweight, feels smooth and looks breathtaking.
BEST PAIRS WITH: Formal, Semi-Formal and Casual outfits.
Some also prefer carrying these sorts of bags with their Indian outfits. Its’s a personal choice after all. No judgements there.

I recently told a friend of mine that a MANGO bag in terms of quality and price works really well for people who’re just as happy to see a Micheal Kors but can’t or wouldn’t want to spend that kind of bomb amount and I truly believe that.
